LOLC made its virgin investment in Central Asia through the acquisition of KARAT (LLC LTMKh and LLCTMKhL), which is engaged in micro lending and gold loan business. In 2022 the Group also acquired Fazo- S Microcredit Deposit Organization, a deposit taking financial institution. With 100% ownership in both these entities, LOLC is well positioned to roll out its business model and offer a wide range of products to the Tajikistani market.
